PERHAPS, YOU ARE ALSO SOMEONE’S DREAM!
PERHAPS, YOU ARE ALSO SOMEONE’S DREAM!
We have reached July, the last 6 months of the year have started along with many plans, and desires that are progressing. How are you doing at this point? What about the goals and ideas you set at the beginning of the year? Have you made significant strides towards them, or are you still on the journey? Are you feeling exhausted by any chance?
As for me, tonight, after several hours of utmost concentration to record the latest audio for Truly Inspired, suddenly… boom, I somehow messed up the settings and lost that entire recording segment!
While trying to figure out why I lost my recording, a younger colleague in my team texted: “Hey, I was so moody before until I stopped by the Truly Inspired website and re-read our posts. Then I realised when working to help others mentally heal, we unintentionally also got healed, too! Thank you for always following this job.”
To be honest, at that time, I was a bit tired from working hard for the past few hours. The clock stated it was almost 1:30 am and I was going to have an important meeting the next day. Regardless, when I read that message, I suddenly felt comfort and joy deep inside!
Products that were created by me and my colleagues are also a tool that helps them become more positive and more determined to progress better every day. This is also one of the reasons why I am always happy and willing to accomplish my mission with Truly Inspired!
I am not an introvert, nor am I a quiet person or an anti-social-interaction person. However, my personality has always been fond of focusing on my inner self and enjoying the peaceful life of my small family. So far, the more I study about this world, the more I see myself as just an ordinary woman. I especially never thought that I would become a role model or a person with an ideal lifestyle that could inspire many others.
That is because I rarely have a comparative or competitive mindset with those around me. Nonetheless, do you know that when I brought Truly Inspired to life, especially when working with my colleagues or accompanying my clients, I often received messages such as:
- I admire you so much and I admire your life even more! I will strive and try hard so I can have a life like yours!
- Honey, I adore you so much! You have always inspired me to live a disciplined life!
- When will I become as strong and stable as you? You are so amazing that even when you went through many unpleasant things, you still look fresh and beautiful!
….
Every time I receive a message like this, my initial reaction is to smile and thank them. However, in the back of my mind, a thought immediately “pops up”: “Well, I hope everyone would not wish for a life like mine, for it has its fair share of scratches and imperfections that you may not know about!” I simply hope that everyone will eventually encounter the best things that are suited for their own lives. This is because the more we desire and expect, the harder we must strive to attain them; otherwise, we will live in constant disappointment for what we could not achieve!
If someone is predestined to be in my life, to understand more deeply about my life and experiences, once they see everything, they will feel fed up with my lifestyle! That is because there are extremely sharp turns in my life and if I was not conscious and mindful enough, I would have fallen into misery a long time ago. Perhaps no Nga Ho would appear, carrying Truly Inspired‘s mission! I am not always happy like how you or many other people thought of me. Sometimes, I would fall into a state of “low battery”, of tiredness; However, the important thing is that I know how to recharge my battery, as well as have my loved ones cheering, encouraging me to regain my motivation and just keep trying.
Therefore, my dear friend, do not focus too deeply on the good side of others’ lives, and then unintentionally use them as standards or unrealistic goals for your life. Perhaps, you are someone else’s dream too!
I have encountered many such cases. For example, this story is a pretty typical example:
I know a girl who has always been self-conscious about a facial imperfection since birth. Her main job is to be a Radio Voice Editor for a social media channel focused on healing content. Every day, she consistently posts an audio segment on various topics, and beneath each post, there are dozens, even hundreds of comments expressing how much they love her voice. They feel healed by the gentle and emotionally resonant tone she carries. Many people even wish for her to conduct voice training classes so they can do similar work. However, she is always self-conscious, constantly thinking about her facial imperfection, and longing to have a normal appearance like others…
So there is the deal, we can all be someone’s wish, it is just that we keep looking elsewhere, comparing ourselves to others, and forgetting our inner beauty, our perfect body!
Have you heard the quote “The rich also cries”? The meaning of this sentence is that, although many people have money and possess everything they want, it is not because of that that they can live in real happiness. They also have tiring, difficult times, or they do not even have anyone to pour their hearts out. They can be very lonely! I know many people are living in luxurious, amazing conditions, yet when talking with them, I realise that they just wish they could gather the whole family around, have a full meal together, or wish that they only need to earn enough to eat every day as long as they get to be with their family, with their obedient, good children, having fun all day as their neighbour families, and so much more. However, they do not know that sometimes, the neighbouring families with lots of children and laughter also have been wanting to live the same luxurious, expensive life as theirs!
If we practise living mindfully by looking deeply into each person’s heart, situation, and surrounding environment, I believe that everyone would be able to see and feel the difficulties of others, too. Not everyone dares to reveal their inner fatigue and struggles for everyone to see.
Therefore, my dear friend, if we wish for a more peaceful, happy, and fulfilling life, the first thing to do is only dream about other people’s lives “moderately”, enough to motivate us to strive forward and achieve our goals, not having unrealistic desires that would leave us sinking into self-consciousness and upset day by day!
Do what you do best. You will have your victory and aura! Trust me!

Truly Inspired
